We Buy Icloud Locked Iphones
You can sell a locked iPhone. However, the type of lock on your iPhone is significant. For example, if your phone has a carrier lock on it, the buyer will only be able to use it on one network. The phone can also be jailed, which means it can only use applications via the iOS operating system. A lock of any kind will reduce the value of your phone.

Passcode / Touchscreen lock: An iPhone is passcode-locked when you cannot access the home screen, either because you have forgotten your personal six-digit security passcode for your phone or because the phone did not originally belong to you and you never had passcode access before.
An iPhone may also become password-locked if you incorrectly enter the passcode six times in a row. Whether you forgot your password or simply made errors in entering it, you can still sell your iPhone.
You can perform a DFU restore even if the phone does not belong to you, and the passcode lock will still be removed. However, if the phone is iCloud-locked or blacklisted, these statuses will not be unlocked or removed by a DFU restore.
The Sell Locked site will buy iPhones in any condition, including passcode-locked iPhones. If you accept their offer, Sell Locked will send a prepaid mailing label so you can mail your iPhone to them. They make payments by check or PayPal within five days after they receive the phone.
If you cannot remember your Apple ID or your password, you will be unable to access the home screen and are iCloud-locked out. Generally, if your iPhone is passcode-locked, it has an iCloud Activation lock as well.
There are no restrictions on selling an iCloud-locked iPhone. You must be honest about it and ensure the buyer understands that you do not have the Apple ID or password to access the phone and unlock its features completely.
If it is possible at all, remove the iCloud lock before you try to sell it. iCloud-locked iPhones are worth very little, and finding interested buyers can be difficult because of it. Many buyers are only interested in purchasing the phones for scrape parts. As long as you acquired the iPhone legally, you can sell it, but price expectations should be low.
SellLocked purchases all types of iPhones in any condition, including iCloud-locked iPhones. If you accept their proposed price, SellLocked will send you a prepaid mailing label so you can ship your iPhone for free. Within five days of receiving your phone, they will pay you by check or via PayPal.
Yes, you can sell locked iPhones. Many buyback stores will take them as is, but if you can unlock the phone, you may be able to get paid more. In some cases, a lot more. You can find out who buys locked iPhones online. A quick search will tell you who buys iCloud-locked iPhones, as well as buyers interested in passcode-locked and even blacklisted iPhones.
Many people believe that it is possible to bypass iCloud lock, but there is no such thing as an iCloud lock bypass. Once an iPhone is permanently locked to an iCloud account, there is no way to remove the lock. The only way to use a permanently locked iPhone is to get the original owner's Apple ID and password. Without this information, the phone will remain locked forever. There are some scams out there that claim to be able to bypass iCloud lock, but these are all frauds. Don't waste your time or money on these scams- the only way to use a locked iPhone is to get the original owner's Apple ID and password.
An iCloud locked iPhone is a phone that has been restricted by Apple due to a security measure. If your iPhone has been iCloud locked, it means that you can no longer use the device or access any of the data that is stored on it. The good news is that you can still recycle or sell your locked iPhone. There are a few companies that specialize in buying and recycling locked iPhones. These companies will clean the data off of your device and then recycle the parts. If you are looking to recycle or sell your iCloud locked iPhone, there are not many options available to you. Just do some research to find the best option. Look for things like the how long the buyer has been in business, their online ratings from past customers and how easily you can contact them before the sale.
You may be surprised to learn that an iCloud locked iPhone is actually worth quite a bit of money. Even though you can't use the phone itself, many of the parts can be recycled and reused. For example, the screen is one of the most valuable parts of the phone, and it can be used to repair other iPhones or sold as a replacement part. The same is true for the camera, battery, and other internal components. In addition, the metal casing can be melted down and used to create new iPhones or other electronic devices. So, even though an iCloud locked iPhone isn't usable, it can still be worth a significant amount of money.
These are devices that have been fully paid off, have no associated apple ID or iCloud/ Google account linked to them; and aside from any cosmetic damage, have nothing wrong with them that would prevent the phone from being activated or used anywhere in the US. These phones are able to be unlocked by their original carrier, and can be used on any new users account. For the most part, these are the normal types of devices that everyone buys (all buyback stores, carrier buyback programs, etc.)
For iCloud locked phones it is pretty simple to tell. Upon activation it will tell you if the device is activation locked. If the device is already active, check settings to see if an iCloud account is signed into the phone or not. If there is no iCloud account associated with the phone, there is no activation lock
If, however, you came by the iPhone legally, then yes, you can sell it. Just be sure to set your price expectations very, very low, especially compared to a regular, unlocked phone. (At the very worst, you can recycle your device and do some good for the planet!)
Unfortunately, you cannot do it. With iCloud (and not carrier) locked iPhone, you can still make calls or messages. You cannot use any services (like itunes, App store and other related) that involve your Apple ID. I will never recommend anyone to buy icloud locked iPhone.
If the phone was advertised as iCloud locked, then you have no recourse. You purchased a phone that you cannot use, you cannot get it unlocked, and Apple will not assist you. You have just wasted your money. The phone is useless to you.
That said, iCloud locked devices do serve a useful purpose in life, at least for a tech. They are great devices to practice on, especially from a micro-soldering perspective as you can try things you might not normally on a fully functional device. They can also serve as a repository of truly original parts but you always have to consider if you are helping or hurting in keeping this cycle going.
@minho "and iPhone theft would be a rampant problem." It IS a rampant problem. Do you think thieves check to see if it's locked when they snatch them off a table, or out of a purse/pocket, or any other way the end up with one? They find that out after the fact and either try to sell it as is or try to unlock it and fail and then sell it as is.
On Monday my girlfriend and mine iphones were stolen, house got broken into, how ever my girlfriends phone did not have icloud activated, my was until i switched it off, for awhile, i had to do a factory restore just before it was stolen to reset all settings, does that mean it reactivated my iclod by default again?
It is next to impossible to remove activation lock from the latest iPhones such as iPhone 12, iPhone 11, etc. But if you are using an older iPhone (iPhone 5s to iPhone X), then there are some paid third-party paid applications that can help you remove the icloud activation lock. They first jailbreak your iPhone and then unlock it.
Fun fact: You do not NEED to pay in order to remove iCloud lock, there are free programs out there. I myself am here because I made a series of poor choices which resulted in my iPhone 6 being iCloud locked.
Say for instance, apple adds a submit your email option to the activation screen. This way, if a device is locked and attempts are bein made to log in, apple sends the newly submitted email to the email linked to the email linked to icloud quoting "I have a device locked to your account, do you still give a &&^& pls". This way people who either lost their device or forgot to sign in can mail new holder using a third party app or smthn. Atleast some light!
Yes and no. If you buy an iCloud locked iPhone, unless you know either the account email and password or the previous passcode, you will be unable to unlock it without jailbreaking it, I had this problem on an iPhone 5s.
Yeah, but very often a WORKING motherboard will cost more than the iPhones original value. I have an iPhone 6 16GB that I entered the wrong icloud password too many times and so put in a fake birthdate that I forgot so IFU. And now I'm screwed that I can't use the device.
If you've browsed eBay for an iPhone in the past few months, you've probably noticed the preponderance of auctions selling low-priced "iCloud-locked" phone. "iCloud locked?," I hear you cry. "But I thought iCloud just synced contacts!" No, dear reader, it's much more powerful than that, but in this case it means that these phones are almost certainly stolen.
This feature should mean that stolen phones have little value to thieves. After all, the thief can't use it or sell it as a fully functional phone. Plus, the fact that it's locked should tip off potential buyers that the deal isn't on the level.
And yet, a cursory search of eBay for "iCloud locked" returns nearly 1,000 results. These range in price anywhere from $50 for an iPhone 4s to $330 for a new iPhone 5s and are generally listed as "for parts or not working." In the course of writing this article, I saw one iCloud-locked iPhone sell for $220.
Anecdotally, it does appear that iCloud-locked iPhones sell for less than fully- functional phones. eBay sellers, presumably hoping to maintain their high feedback rankings, also seem to make no secret of the fact that iCloud-locked phones are not fully functional. That certainly helps would-be buyers, but there's clearly still a market for iCloud-locked phones. 041b061a72
